SIOF is founded by the Lahbabi family, building its base on olive crushing, pomace-oil extraction and olive preserving.

A family house since 1961
Nine milestones trace six decades of patient building: crushing, refining, packaging, national reach, and the return to the land with Domaine El Hamd.

Authorisation to build an edible-oil refining plant — a key step in the company’s expansion.

Acquisition of equipment for packaging manufacture and edible-oil bottling.

Modernisation of the refining unit, reinforcing production capacity.

1986
Nationwide extension: depots in Marrakech, Oujda, Casablanca, Oued Zem and Meknès.

1995
Construction of the first pomace-oil extraction plant.

1996
After market liberalisation in Morocco, modernisation of the olive-preserving unit and increased pomace-oil extraction capacity.

2003
Following the PVC ban, modernisation of all packaging lines.

Creation of the Domaine El Hamd subsidiary, with a 220-hectare olive plantation and an oil-extraction unit.
